Catastrophic Leave

Help is on the way!We are elated to announce the launch of a Catastrophic Leave Committee for SEIU Local 99 Members. When faced with critical illness, resources may be limited.  Our last contract negotiation added one more alternative that may be a help to unit members dealing with a loss of pay due to personal illness or caretaking responsibilities for immediate family members.  The Catastrophic Leave program allows SEIU members to donate excess accrued vacation or sick time to a pool from which affected union members can request additional paid absence time.
