Members Ratify Agreement with CDI Head Start

On October 28, 2010, SEIU Local 99 members at CDI Head Start ratified a contract re-opener agreement. Highlights of the agreement include:

1. CDI Head Start agrees to conduct a wage and fringe benefit comparability study to determine how our compensation compares with similar employers; target for completion of study is December 1, 2010

2. Any additional funds identified for pay increases or enhanced benefits are subject to immediate negotiations for these improvements.

3. If health insurance premiums increase for 2011-2012, CDI agrees to negotiate the amount the employer will pick-up of any such increases.
