Members at LAUSD: Be Sure You Are Up-To-Date On Your First Aid, CPR & Child Abuse Testing Requirements
All LAUSD employees in all job classifications are required to take the Child Abuse test online every year. Even if you took the test last year, you must re-take it again.
Special Education Assistants and Trainees at LAUSD who were hired before February 25, 2008 must have an updated First Aid Certificate as a condition of employment.
Special Education Assistants & Trainees who were hired after February 25, 2008 must have an updated First Aid and CPR Certificate.
The District is reviewing compliance with these requirements. You can be terminated if you are not up-to-date with these requirements. SEIU Local 99 offers FREE First Aid and CPR Classes to help you stay in compliance. Click here for the class schedule.
