Mileage Reimbursement Rates Increase for Members at LAUSD

Are you an LAUSD employee receiving mileage reimbursements?
Our new SEIU Local 99 contract with LAUSD won us an improved mileage reimbursement rate based on the highest allowable IRS per-mile rate (currently 50 cents) as of July 2009.

We will begin to see this new rate in our January paychecks and will also receive a one-time retroactive amount for July through December, 2009.

Those of us who are paid once per month will see the retroactive amount in our January 29 paycheck. Those of us paid twice per month will get the lump sum on February 8.
