LAUSD MUST notify employees before recouping overpayments over $50

The District is violating our contract by failing to notify SEIU Local 99 members when they take more than $50 out of employees' paychecks. Our contract states that the District MUST notify employees prior to recouping any overpayment above $50. If the District took money above $50 and did not notify you, all bargaining units may grieve this. The very first step in the grievance is to talk to your direct supervisor (informally).
