ASSISTANCE AND DONATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNION MEMBERS:
The Central Coast Labor Council is providing funding assistance to union members living in Ventura County who lost their home in the Woolsey or Hill Fires. Impacted members should contact the Central Coast Labor Council by completing this online form or contacting [email protected] or calling 805-987-0101.
Be sure to let the Labor Council know you are a member of SEIU Local 99. Extremely important: Before they can provide assistance, they will need a copy of any documentation of your loss (i.e. a form from FEMA, the county or your insurance company).
SEIU California’s Disaster Relief Fund – SEIU members and staff can support the families of those devastated by the California wildfires by making a financial donation to the SEIU California Disaster Relief Fund which helps support members in times of need.
Many SEIU union members are among the hundreds of thousands of people impacted by the out of control wildfires that burned through communities throughout California.
It’s times like these when being united matters. We must band together and use our power in numbers to provide support and relief to our brothers and sisters in California.
