Members on our SEIU Local 99 bargaining team at Compton Unified School District reached an agreement for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 wage reopener.

Highlights of the agreement include: 

• 3% on-schedule increase paid retroactive to July 1, 2020
• $1,500 one-time payment

This agreement will be ratified by the CUSD School Board on Tuesday, July 19 and will be processed by payroll immediately after that. 

It’s not over yet! 
We now move into full contract negotiations to continue to fight for more!  We will be electing a new bargaining team and surveying members to set priorities for our 2022-25 full contract.
