In preparing for our next full-contract negotiations we will be hosting an in-person meeting at Walton Middle School (900 W Greenleaf Blvd, Compton, 90220) on Wednesday, August 24. The meeting will begin at 4:30 pm.

During our meeting, we will be electing our bargaining team! The first step to winning a strong contract is by identifying the needs and priorities of SEIU Local 99 members.

The Local 99 bargaining team is responsible for representing all members working at CUSD in negotiations with school district management representatives.

The voting process for the bargaining team:

• To be nominated and elected to the bargaining team, you must be an active dues-paying member of SEIU Local 99 in good standing*. If you’re not yet a member, you can sign-up online HERE

• You may nominate yourself or another member by submitting this form

• You may also nominate yourself or another member at the membership meeting on Wednesday, August 24. The member you nominate must  accept the nomination.

• Vote for yourself or other nominated members by submitting a ballot that will be provided during the membership meeting.

• Temporary Employees are not eligible to vote.
