During our membership meeting on August 24, members voted and elected our Compton Unified bargaining team!

Our Local 99 bargaining team is responsible for representing all members working at CUSD in negotiations with school district management representatives. We congratulate these leaders and recognize all members who participated in this election process!

Remember, a strong contract isn’t just won at the bargaining table. It’s going to take action at our worksites to win good wages, benefits, job protections, and respect for our work. Look for a bargaining survey coming soon to help the bargaining team set priorities for our contract.
