Early Care and Education Meet and Greet with Maria Brenes!

As you may know, elected officials make crucial decisions that impact our jobs, the services we provide, student learning, and our communities.

When it comes to LAUSD—the second largest school district in the nation—the decisions of LAUSD Board Members impact a lot of lives and communities! We’re talking over 600,000 students and close to 30,000 classified employees at over 1000 work sites in neighborhoods across Los Angeles!

That’s why family child care provider Erika Metry (pictured above), has been spending her Saturday mornings talking to voters. “As early educators, we need to make sure that all children under our care enter a fully funded K-12 educational system. I am talking to voters about Maria Brenes for LAUSD District 2 because she is a CHAMPION FOR ALL STUDENTS!”

Join us this Saturday for a meet and greet with Maria Brenes and learn how we can help get her elected!
