On Monday, December 12, members at Hacienda La Puente Unified School District voted to approve the 2022-2025 full contract.

The agreement includes:

Salary/Work Peiods/Overtime

  • A 4% increase for all classifications, retroactive to July 1, 2022
  • A one-time stipend of $500.00 for all unit members
  • For 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, reopen negotiations for Salary/Work Periods/Overtime and Health and Welfare Insurance

Health and Welfare Insurance Benefits

  • Increase employer contribution for premiums by $1,000.00/year, which increases annual cap for employer contributions from $11,900 to $12,900

Duration of Assignment

  • Layoffs for classified employees will now have the same process and timelines as layoff of certificated teachers

Holidays

  • Add Juneteenth Holiday

Safety

  • For uniform allowances: Add Bus Driver Trainer, Police and Safety Communications Specialist, and Nutrition Services Supervisor
  • For safety shoes: Add Senior Security Officer
