CCPU/SEIU Local 99 Contract Action Team

The Contract Action Team (CAT) is a dedicated group of member leaders. CAT members communicate regularly with other providers in their area about the progress of contract negotiations. When/if the state is dragging its feet at the bargaining table, the Contract Action Team will lead us into action and put pressure on the state so that we win what we deserve!

We won many important victories over the years and our historic first union contract with the state
in 2021, but we know our work is far from over. It will take ALL OF US to build a world-class early
care and education system. CCPU’s top bargaining priorities include ensuring providers receive fair
compensation that reflects the true cost of running a child care business, creating a new rate structure to increase provider pay, access to retirement benefits, having a voice in our state’s universal transitional kindergarten program, and paid time off.
