Take a bus ride to Sacramento and join thousands of child care providers, education workers, parents, and child care advocates in the state capital to send a strong message to Governor Newsom: Respect Providers! Invest in child care now!

Family Child Care Providers allow working parents to do their jobs every day, knowing their children are in a safe and caring learning environment.

But despite their dedication to early education, providers often make less than minimum wage and most do not have access to retirement, paid sick days, or permanent health care benefits.

As a result, many dedicated providers—a majority Black and Brown women—are struggling to keep their doors open and parents are struggling to find quality, affordable child care in their communities.

We’re fighting to change that! Join us to make sure Governor Newsom agrees to a contract with providers that values their work and expands access to child care for California’s working families.

Bring family, friends, children! Join us for a turnaround bus trip to Sacramento. Meals will be provided.

Buses depart late night on Wednesday, June 14 and return late night on Thursday, June 15.
