Our SEIU Local 99 bargaining team at Compton Unified continues in negotiations with the district. Wages are a key issue, and we all must continue to fight for the fair increases we deserve. Our next bargaining session is scheduled for September 7th, 2023.

Grievance Updates

Pay Differential

Members filed a grievance over the district’s failure to pay a 1% differential between supervisors and those they supervise. So we’re fighting back. We know when we fight, we win. Stay tuned for updates.

Tech Supervisors

Another grievance has been filed against Compton Unified for direct dealing with our bargaining unit members which is violating our agreement. This cannot stand! Fair and simple. We continue to move forward on this grievance. Look for updates coming soon. .
