Tentative Agreement Reached with Compton Unified on Wages!

Members Must Vote on the Agreement: September 29

Members of our SEIU Local 99 Bargaining Team at Compton Unified have reached a tentative agreement with Compton Unified School representatives that includes wage increases. Members must vote on the agreement.

The tentative agreement includes a 6.5% retroactive salary increase to July 1, 2022, for all bargaining unit employees. 

The agreement includes an additional 1% wage increase retroactive to January 1, 2023.

To receive either retroactive payment, a bargaining unit employee must have been employed during the 2022-2023 school year.

The tentative agreement includes wages and other language updates.

Our bargaining team recommends accepting the offer. SEIU Local 99 members at CUSD must vote to ratify the agreement.

  • Location: Martin L. King Elementary School
  • Time: 11 AM – 4 PM
