SEIU Local 99 Members at Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Ready to Bargain with the District. Let’s Prepare to Win!

Let's Show Force & Button-Up!

Members on our SEIU Local 99 bargaining team at LACCD met to strategize on February 9 as they finalize the contract proposals that will be presented to the district. As previously reported, members identified low wages and understaffing as two of the key priorities to address in our next contract. All SEIU Local 99 members at LACCD perform essential work that helps our students learn in a clean, safe, and supportive environment. No one should be earning below a living wage salary!

The first negotiations session with the district is scheduled for Monday, February 26th. Let’s show unity, solidarity, and force by standing with our bargaining team. Wear purple or your union button on February 26 as we kick-off contract negotiations.

Need union buttons? Buttons are being distributed at all colleges by the SEIU Local 99 bargaining team members and alternates. If you have not yet received a button, contact your organizer Ulises Leon.
