Overpayment for Acceleration Days: Vacation Hours Can Be Used to Reduce or Eliminate Pay Adjustments

Members who signed-up to work the December 19-20, 2022 acceleration days but did not work those days and were paid should have received an overpayment notice from the district. To help lessen the impact of the pay adjustments, members who had an available vacation balance during the December 2020 pay period, may use the vacation hours to reduce or eliminate the overpayment. Members who choose to use vacation time to reduce the pay adjustment should submit a Certification of Absence Form to their site timekeeper and time approver before Tuesday, April 16, 2024 so that the appropriate time reporting code can be used.
