School year is ending, our fight for a strong contract is not!

Bargaining team members provide more proposals for hours, training, & other issues: District still unresponsive & continuing with the Cuts! Sign the petition to let your voice heard.

As the school year comes to a close, we remind everyone that our contract bargaining team will continue negotiating with LAUSD through the summer break.

We’re also not letting up on the fight to stop the cuts for next school year. The board will vote on the final budget on June 25 and we all need to be ready to take action.

Our bargaining team met with the district on June 7 for our third bargaining session,

We presented LAUSD with proposals to increase work hours for all, improve training, & other issues. The district didn’t offer any proposals, nor did they respond to our contract proposals.

While the district showed some movement after we packed the school board meeting on June 4 to demand that they stop the cuts, they have not pulled back notices of reduction in hours that were sent to members.

They still have time to do it now before June 25th.

Take Action!

Sign the petition to STOP THE CUTS before the board votes on June 25th.

Stay informed on negotiations during the summer break by checking our website often.

When we fight, we win!
