Join the Options For Learning Contract Action Team!
The Contract Action Team (CAT) is a dedicated group of member leaders who are at the center of leveraging our collective power during negotiations. CAT members communicate regularly with other co-workers in their area about the progress of negotiations and the work we are moving through our actions. When/if Options is dragging its feet at the bargaining table, the Contract Action Team will lead us into actions to demonstrate our unified strength as a union and put pressure on the employer so that we win what we deserve!
To build a world-class early care and education system, it will take ALL OF US. Join us by committing to take action as a part of our Contract Action Team (CAT).
To be a member of the Contract Action Team (CAT), you must:
- Be a Union Member
- Be a good Communicator
- Be Available for weekend, evenings, or emergency meetings if needed
- Be able to use or learn how to use Zoom
- Mobilize your co-workers/others in support of a strong contract
- Work through difficult conversations
- Commit to growing our union
- Mobilize co-workers to continue building a strong union
- Enforce our Contract
