As a dedicated early education worker, you’re on the front lines teaching and caring for our youngest learners every day. Through our contract negotiations, SEIU Local 99 members at Options will have the opportunity to make improvements to working conditions, wages and other issues identified by workers.

Be a part of the Contract Bargaining Team

Roles & Responsibilities of Bargaining Team Members:

• Meet outside of work hours on dates and times convenient to members of the negotiation team
• Prepare for negotiations by creating proposals and discuss compelling arguments in favor of them
• Meet with Options administrators to negotiate and reach an agreement on the proposals
• Reach a “tentative agreement” that will be voted on by members in good standing
• Sign the agreement after members vote to ratify it

Requirements for Bargaining Team Members:

• You must be a member of SEIU Local 99 in “good standing”
• You can nominate yourself and/or
• Nominate a Colleague (Colleague must accept the nomination)
