📣 Compton Unified Bargaining Update – Proposal that is Too Low & More Delays from CUSD.

📣 Compton Unified Bargaining Update – Proposal that is Too Low & More Delays from CUSD.

Our SEIU Local 99 Bargaining Team has made our contract demands clear to Compton Unified. They must recognize our work with fair wages, affordable health care benefits and safety on the job.

The district has responded with an insulting 1.2% wage increase.

They refused to increase their contribution to our health care benefits to cover 2025 premiums.

They rejected longevity pay increases to honor our years of dedication to students.

And they’re dragging their feet on our proposals for safety gear, PPE and a heat illness prevention to protect us on the job.

CUSD continues to delay and ignore the urgent needs of front-line workers who keep our schools running.

Enough Is Enough! We’re taking our demands to the school board!

We need YOU to Join us at the CUSD school board meeting on Tuesday, May 20 at 5pm
