Starting Monday, February 2, LAUSD members will begin voting on whether to authorize a strike.

This strike vote is a critical moment for all workers who keep LAUSD running every day. After months of stalled negotiations and disrespect at the table, it’s time for members to decide how far they are willing to go to win the wages, staffing, and working conditions LAUSD schools and students deserve.

Voting will take place at schools and worksites across LAUSD.

Report Unfair Labor Practices

As we conduct this strike vote, members may encounter bullying to discourage participation. Some of the most common ways bosses intimidate union members include:

• Surveillance – Watching your every move and eavesdropping, especially when talking about union business.
• Punishment – Retaliating against you for participating in union meetings/actions
• Interrogation – Asking questions like, “do you support a strike?”
• Threats – Like threatening to fire you if you strike.
