LACOE MEMBERS RATIFY NEW AGREEMENT WITH 97.89% YES VOTE!
LACOE MEMBERS RATIFY NEW AGREEMENT WITH 97.89% YES VOTE!
SEIU Local 99 members at LACOE ratified the tentative agreement with a high majority!
This strong vote shows what we can accomplish when we stand together, organize, and fight for improvements at work.
Our ratified agreement delivers 6% in wage increases with retroactive pay, a new higher Salary Step 6, increased longevity and uniform shoe stipends, stronger grievance access, new out-of-class work language, office-paid mileage for administrative transfers, new safety protections, and more.
Now the work continues. SEIU Local 99 will be pushing the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACEO) to implement our raises and issue our retro pay as soon as possible.
This agreement was won because members stood strong together. When we organize, we win!
