Build Power for Family, Friends, and Neighbor (FFN) Child Care Providers

Build Power for Family, Friends, and Neighbor (FFN) Child Care Providers

Join SEIU Local 99-CCPU’s Family, Friends, and Neighbors Organizing Committee

The FFN Organizing Committee is a powerful group of license-exempt family child care provider member leaders, also known as Family, Friend, and Neighbor FFN providers, dedicated to growing our union and making sure our voices are heard at every level. We welcome FFN providers into our union and inspire and empower more of us to take action to improve the child care industry.

As committee members, we build union strength by:

  • Recruiting new members: We build our collective power one member at a time. This can mean hosting a meeting in our homes or facilitating union meetings, visiting providers in our  neighborhoods,  or calling providers to sign them up to our union.
  • Building leadership:  We organize, mobilize, and empower   providers   to resolve issues and win what is needed for the children and families we serve.
  • Sharing  our Stories: We make  our voices heard by sharing  our stories with legislators, community allies, and/or the media.

We meet monthly or as needed (via Zoom and/or in person) to plan, organize, and support one another.
