Hello, my name is Kit and I am the organizer for childcare providers in San Bernardino County. I decided to become an organizer after organizing my own workplace back in Minnesota, which is where I grew up. In my free time I like to read, knit, and play with my cat Harvey.

Contact your organizer for questions about worksite actions, union meetings, updates on ongoing contract negotiations, signing-up for union membership, becoming a Steward, and general questions about your contract.

  • Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training

    Date: Thursday, December 14
    Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
    About this Event:

    All licensed family child care providers and their assistants are required to take this training every two years. You will Learn: What the law requires of you as a mandated reporter, how to spot indicators of possible child abuse, how to talk to children about abuse, how to make a report, and more! Contact your union organizer to get invited via text. Second Thursday of every month. English and Spanish Zooms, 6:30-8:30 pm. FREE for SEIU Local 99/CCPU members.
