No Cuts to Student Learning & Safety!

Despite more than $6 billion in reserves, LAUSD Superintendent Carvalho and the school board are underfunding our schools. The district is cutting critical positions and programs. Students will pay the price if these cuts go through.

Campus Aides, Art & Music Teachers, Supervision Aides, Counselors, Teacher Assistants, Psychologists, and many more workers who ensure the health, safety and learning of students are being cut from budgets next school year.

In addition, the district is taking back an unprecedented amount of school site carryover funds. Many schools rely on carryover funds to fill the serious budget gaps due to inadequate funding for schools.

LAUSD has the money to fund our schools — they’re just refusing to do it. Let Carvalho and the School Board know we won’t let them defund public schools. Email them below and demand they restore school funding and stop the cuts!
