Zoom Meeting for Members at LAUSD

About this Event:
Join us to learn more about the tentative agreement SEIU Local 99 and UTLA just reached with LAUSD. The meeting is only open to members of SEIU Local 99. Please register by June 5 to receive the Zoom link at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_AWC0H4ACTni5XuTsninXDw#/registration

Members must vote on the agreement. SEIU Local 99 members will be voting online June 7-9. Attend the meeting for more information.

Highlights of the agreement include:
• Three week winter break is maintained
• There will be no retaliation by the district against strikers.
• 5 optional paid days for non A basis members including early ed centers and adult ed.
• Vacation cash-out during winter recess, including for members who work during the optional Winter Recess Academy
• Maintained the 3 dry run days for bus drivers
• Additional instructional days for students

Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training

Date: Thursday, June 8

Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

About this Event:
All licensed family child care providers and their assistants are required to take this training every two years. You will Learn: What the law requires of you as a mandated reporter, how to spot indicators of possible child abuse, how to talk to children about abuse, how to make a report, and more! Contact your union organizer to get invited via text. Second Thursday of every month. English and Spanish Zooms, 6:30-8:30 pm. FREE for SEIU Local 99/CCPU members.
